Image Care

Sunlight: Our inks are archival quality and will give decades of use. However, please keep this and all images away from direct sunlight - if there is a place where direct sun hits the Image every day for hours at a time, fading will occur no matter what the printing process. If you keep the image from repetitive direct sun, it will last decades.

Cleaning: Although our inks are highly scratch resistant, please dust with a light feather brush or compressed air. Do not use water, solvents, or other cleaners.

Blessing: Because these prints are of Sacred Images, they are usually blessed with Holy Water. Because of this, we have worked hard to provide you with a highly water-resistant Image. Once blessed, however, do not wipe the Image; allow it to dry naturally in an upright position. On the Vilnius Image, it is best to bless the Image in the colored areas rather than in the black background. For the safest method, bless the Image on the frame.

Frames: Our frames are real wood with veneers. You can use a damp cloth or a furniture polish like Pledge on the frames. Please spray the cloth, not the frame, to avoid getting the polish on the Image.
